How do I apply?

Step 1

:

Obtain the KWSP 9K(AHL) application form and brochure from any of the post offices, or contact us by phone, fax or e-mail to obtain the form & brochure.
Step 2

:

Choose the computer packages available and fill up the "Sebut Harga Pembelian Set Komputer Peribadi" that is the brochure from us. You are to submit the entire brochure, duly stamped by any post office.
Step 3

:

Fill up the KWPS 9K(AHL) form.
Step 4

:

Obtain a letter confirming student status from the school or institutions of higher learning.
Step 5

:

Get ready with all supporting documents as appear in the checklist.
Step 6

:

Submit the application form with all supporting documents to post Office.
Step 7

:

On approval, only relevant amount will be withdrawn from your EPF account and paid to Pos Office.
Step 8

:

EPF will then issue you a letter, informing you that your application has been approved.
Step 9

:

Visit your nearest post office, present the letter from EPF and place an order at the post office. We will send you the TMnet form for connection to your Internet services for 3 months free rental or 2,000 minutes free access.
Step 10   Delivery and installation will be made to your home.

 

What documents are required?

a) Application Form for purchase of personal computer - KWSP 9K (AHL).
b) Copy of member's Identity Card , OR
  Copy of identity card of a member of the army or police force, and a certification letter from your superior confirming that the army/police card and the identity card refer to the same person.
c)

Proof of members - child relationship.

  • Copy of identity card of member's child (if applicable).
  • Copy of child's birth certificate.
  • Certificate confirming status of an adopted child (if applicable).
  • Copy of marriage certificate (Proof of relationship with stepchild) (if applicable).
d) Duly completed "Sebut harga pembelian set komputer peribadi" for the purchase of a personal computer set in the name of the member or of the member's child as attached in the leaflet.
e) Letter confirming student status, OR
f) Letter of offer to enrol in the Institution of Higher Learning outside Malaysia.
 

What are the terms and conditions?

a) That you have RM 3500.00 or more in your EPF Account II. If you do not, you may withdraw what you have and 'top up' the difference at the time of application. If the computer package you choose costs more than RM 3500.00, you will have to top up this difference too. The 'top up' is in the form of cash
b) Members are allowed to withdraw only once from his or her EPF Account II for this purpose
c) If you do not wish to top up the difference, a joint application with your spouse is allowed, on condition that have a child aged 10 years or older. You will need to submit a copy of the child's birth certificate and a letter of confirmation of student status together with your joint application
d) Computer bought under this scheme must be purchased from an approved bounded vendor or supplier under the Odasaja System Builder / GID ( your computer supplier will be able to tell you, or contact Pos Malaysia 03-22744141 / Odasaja (M) Sdn. Bhd. 03-79666688 for details )
